Amigo LNG is proud to announce our recent collaboration with the Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Research Center (CRRIFS A.C.), aimed at strengthening sea turtle conversation efforts in Guaymas and San Carlos, Sonora.
As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship and marine wildlife protection, Amigo LNG is working closely with CRRIFS A.C.
This cooperation will directly support the expansion and enhancement of their Sea Turtle Conservation Program, helping to safeguard these vital marine species and their habitats.

PEOPLE
Strategically located in Guaymas, Sonora, AMIGO LNG supports the communities by creating job opportunities for locals and provides funding for educational scholarships and skills development programs to strengthen the regional economy. By diversifying LNG supply and ensuring adequate storage capacity, we aim to enhance energy resilience for households across Mexico and industrial estates by being a reliable power supply, reducing dependency on other resources.
PROGRESS
AMIGO LNG adheres to international best practices in governance, contractual agreement and compliance. We are committed to providing transparency, accountability and sustainable alignment for all LNG stakeholders and our communities worldwide. Through developing a world-class LNG terminal, we are building a responsible and future-ready sovereign for Mexico and the rest of the world.
PLANET
Our floating LNG facility and modular, prefabricated components minimize land use, reduce the time taken for LNG deployment and mitigates ecological disruptions, as compared to alternative onshore LNG facilities. By utilising state-of-the-art world class advanced US liquefaction systems, we are able to achieve greater efficiency and reduced emissions per ton of LNG produced. To meet the nation’s ambitious sustainability goals, AMIGO LNG is engineered to support green energy by providing reliable backup power and processes to integrate carbon-reduction strategies over time.

Investing in People
Through our Amigo LNG project, we are opening more than 3000 direct and indirect jobs during construction and more than 900 permanent jobs during operations. This project represents a commitment to local growth, sustainable development and long-term opportunities for the community.

We are committed to building local talent, offering scholarships, vocational programs and forming academic partnerships so that students in Guaymas have a pathway into future-ready careers. Strengthening Community Resilience
We are elevating the lives and livelihoods of the people of Guaymas by investing into infrastructure and resources of the town. Through initiatives such as the restoration of fishing jetties using cooperative models and the implementation of fire stations in industrial zones, we are investing in infrastructure that both preserves Guaymas’ traditional trades whilst strengthening its resilience. These efforts reflect our commitment to building a safer, more sustainable future for the community.
