Amigo LNG is a world-class energy infrastructure project under development, located in the Port of Guaymas, Sonora. The project involves the construction and operation of a terminal for the liquefaction, storage, and loading of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in Guaymas, Sonora.The infrastructure will include specialized onshore and offshore facilities to receive natural gas from the country's existing pipeline network, convert it into LNG, store it, and safely transfer it to vessels for transportation.
The project promotes regional development through:Job creation: Generation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs during the construction and operation stages.Support for local suppliers: Hiring of companies, services, and suppliers from Guaymas and Empalme.Talent development: Collaboration with local educational institutions for technical training.Logistics positioning: Consolidating Guaymas as a strategic center for the energy industry.
